Chapter 10 - Land
There are different ways to obtain a land, however the first land will be distributed through a drop (check roadmap for more info). Land can be owned from anyone, but only having a Main Character you will be able to rule it. If you have a Main Character:
The first step is associating your land to one of your Main characters, who will rule the land. Since administering a land is a demanding task, the character's daily action will be reduced based on the type of lands he manages. If your lands are close to one another you can bring them together and create a Canton, a Barony or a City. Land: 1 Land. Is the basic plot of land. Your character will be recognized as a Landowner. 1 daily action point to manage it. Canton: 3-4 Land. A Canton can be created with a min of 3 Lands. Your character will be recognized as a Lord. 2 daily action points to manage it. Barony: 5-9 Land. A Barony can be created with a min of 5 Lands. Your character will be recognized as a Baron. 3 daily action points to manage it. City: 10+ Land. A City can be created with a min of 10 Lands. Your character will be recognized as an Earl. 4 daily action points to manage it. A single land can have up to 3 Buildings. Having a Canton, a Barony or a City will optimize the spaces grouping lands together, increasing the limit of the building you can have on each land. A land in a canton can have up to 4 Buildings, a land in a Barony can have up to 5 Buildings, a land in a city can have up to 6 Buildings. Example: A city made of 10 lands can then have a total of 60 Buildings (6buildingsx10land). Players can decide to join their own land together with other players to create a canton, a barony or a City, managing their parts based on lands they own but increasing the amount of buildings they can have on their single plot and sharing the incomes from those lands based on the land they own, to merge lands together they needs to be close to each other and the landowners will need to choose a representant for the canton/barony/city. Every county can have up to 3 Cities. Cities are visible on the first main map (like Venetyr). To see Baronies, Cantons and Single land plots players will need to enter the County where those are located. If you don’t have main characters you will be able to buy and own lands, but you can’t create yourself a canton, a barony or a city and you will not be able to build on your land. However you will still be able to get payments based on people's activities in your land or county and you will be able to join your land in a canton, barony or city with other players.
